Welcome, I’m Jorge Ratia
I’m a social neuroscientist exploring the biological bases of human morality
and I work to make these ideas accessible to everyone, beyond academia.
What do I do?
I study how people interpret the world and how they make decisions about it, especially in tense social and political contexts. My work combines experimental neuroscience with applied psychological research, using methods such as EEG, fMRI, and behavioral analysis.
Beyond running studies, I work across the full research process. I design experiments, analyze data, and synthesize complex findings, from academic papers to reports for policymakers and organizations.
Alongside research, I work in science communication and consulting. I write for general audiences and collaborate with -public and private- institutions to translate scientific information into informative stories.
